Yup, we even figure that this hike tops Cheam! What we liked best:
- it was fun to just get out there and do something like this
- it was an absolutely beautiful day
- there was a lot of variety – some steeper hiking in a forested area, nice walks along the tops of ridges as we made our way over to the peak, and best of all – rock climbing! it was the kind that didn’t require any climbing gear – and it was so fun!
- incredible views!! we saw Baker and all the coastal mountain ranges – and to the other side you could see the more “rolling hills” of the okanagan.
There was still quite a bit of snow up there – so that provided a bit of an extra challenge – especially on the way down as we totally lost the trail and ended up having to do a bunch of bushwhacking as we tried to find the trail again!
It really was a great day – we’d recommend this hike to anyone!
